Sutter Home Winery was founded in the late 1800's and has always produced quality wines at reasonable prices. The Trinchero family purchased the winery in 1947 and has pioneered many industry innovations over the past half century. Continuing the tradition of producing good wines at a fair price, Sutter Home Winery offers a full selection of red, white and blush varietals, which they invented with the white zinfandel bottling.

Our ongoing work with Sutter Home started at redeploying existing graphical elements into a new site. The particular constraint of this project was building the ENTIRE site in Flash 4, an older version of Flash which Sutter Home wished to retain for technical reasons. Freerun even built the store in Flash, which to our knowledge is one of the first implementations of Flash in a commerce environment. The site retains extensive and sophisticated Flash multimedia features, like the Food and Wine pairing wheel, and the Moodmaker. New projects include a flavor wheel that Sutter Home sales staff use in client presentations.
