Portals Overview

Freerun Technologies has been building and operating consumer portal websites since 1993. Our flagship site, www.winecountry.com, is the premiere portal (over three million visitors per month!) for travelers to the California wine growing regions. Our new www.drinkwine.com is a premiere location for wine drinkers to gather and share insider information on their favorite wines from around the world. It provides the wine enthusiast with an educational and enjoyable resource for winemaker and grower information, recipes, auctions, new releases, ratings, and much more.

We also operate portal sites for our clients. For Diageo, we built and maintain www.aboutwines.com. A site originally designed for the wine business, it now enjoys high popularity with savvy wine drinkers looking to learn more about Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines like Beaulieu Vineyard and Sterling Vineyards. We also built and maintain www.eatdrinkdine.com, a database-driven site that offers thousands of food and wine pairing combinations. A new portal site is www.sonomacounty.com, which we built for Sonoma County’s Tourism Program and have integrated with the Winecountry.com portal.
