How to Configure Nescape Mail 3.0x

  1. Open Netscape Navigator.

  2. From the Options menu, choose Mail and News Preferences.

  3. Click on the Identity tab.


    4.  
  4. In the Your Name field, type Your First and Last Name.

    5.  
  5. In the Your Email field, type your email address.

    6.  
  6. In the Reply-to Address field, type Your Email Address or the Email Address you would like your recipients to reply to.

  7. Click on the Servers tab.

    8.  
  8. In the Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server: field, type the SMTP mail server name specific to your domain (i.e. smtp.pacbell.net for pacbell).

    9.  
  9. In the Incoming Mail (POP3) Server: field, type the POP3 mail server name specific to your domain (i.e. mail.freerun.com for Freerun).

    10.  
  10. In the POP3 User Name: field, type Your Username.

    11.  
  11. In the News (NNTP) Server field, type the News server for specific to your domain (i.e. news.freerun.com for Freerun).

    12.  
  12. Click the OK button to exit the Preferences window.

    You have just successfully configured your email program.
