How to configure Outlook 2000

1. Open Outlook 2000.

 
2. From the Tools menu, choose Services.

   


 
3. Select Internet E-mail in the The following information services are set up in this profile list.

 
4. Click the Properties button.

   


 
5. In the Mail Account field, type a name for the email account (i.e. Freerun).

 
6. In the Name field, type your full name.

 
7. In the E-mail address field, type your email address.

   


 
8. Click on the Servers tab.

 
9. In the Incoming mail (POP3) field, type the POP3 mail server name specific to your domain (i.e. pop.freerun.com for Freerun).

 
10. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field, type the SMTP mail server name specific to your domain (i.e. mail.freerun.com for Freerun).

 
11. In the Account name field, type your username.

 
12. In the Password field, type your password.

 
13. Check the box next to Remember password.

    


 
14. Click on the Connection tab.

 
15. Click the Connect using my phone line radio button in the Connection area.

 
16. Click the down arrow on the Use the following Dial-Up Networking connection drop-down list and choose your connection.

 
17. Click the OK button.

    


 
18. Click the OK button then close Outlook 2000.

    

    You have successfully configured Outlook 2000.
