Freerun is an Internet professional services firm with approximately 30 employees.
Most of our clients are small to mid-size corporations with revenues from $25M
to $250M, though we work within large enterprises like Agilent and First Data.
“Freerun” is a winemaking term that we adapted because
it fits our self-image of being the first and the best.
When wine is drained from the vat without being pressed, it goes straight
into barrels
as freerun wine (vin de goutte). It’s the good stuff! The remaining
pulp, after draining, is pressed to squeeze out the press
wine (vin de presse). The pressed wine tends to be dark, harsh and
unpalatable,
and has to be mixed with freerun wine to produce something
you can drink.
